Brilliant Kids Montessori Preschool / Kindergarten in Carlsbad accepts children from 2 1/2 (potty trained) to 6 years old.

Tuition & Fees:

  • Registration Fee - $75 one time non-refundable application / registration fee

  • 3 full days/week: $780 per month

  • 2 half days/week $420 per month

  • 3 full days and 2 half days/week: $1,150 per month

  • Materials Fees - $200 per year

  • Annual tuition prepayment discount of 5% off tuition, except Miscellaneous Fees

  • Sibling tuition discount of 5% off tuition, except Materials & Registration Fees

Physics: Matter, Mechanics, Fluids, Electricity & Magnetism, Waves, Sound and Optics, and etc.
Chinese: Parent and Child at 11:30a. Conversation and writing.

2nd session: July 26 – August 20, 2010 (4-week session)
3 mornings/week – Mon/Tue//Wed
Time: 8:45 am - noon
Tuition: $450
Subject: Chemistry and Chinese
Chemistry: Basic Tools And Principles, Atomic and Molecular Structure), States of Matter, Types and Control of Chemical Reactions and Chemistry of Elements, Compounds and Materials
Chinese: Parent and Child at 11:30a. Conversation and writing.

Summer 2009

July 8th - August 3rd, 2009 (4-week session)
July session:
Mondays: Science >> Forensic Science - A Mystery to Solve Every Week!
Wednesdays: Montessori Math >> Will be individualized for each child - 4 operations (static and dynamic)
Fridays: Fine Arts >> Learn about Master Artists and Create a Masterpiece! Fun arts and crafts as well!

August 5th - August 31st, 2009 (4-week session)
August session:
Mondays: Science (Life Science and Biology - Anatomy, Guided Dissection of Real Specimens of Each Phylum)
Wednesdays: Montessori Math (Will be individualized for each child)
Fridays: Music (Master Composers, Theory/Note Reading, Instruments for Fun!)

Mon, Wed, Fri:  8:45 a.m. - Noon
Tuition: $450 (materials fee is included)
Ages: 3 - 7

Science is the study of nature and the physical world of testing, experimenting, and measuring. The word science comes from the Latin word scientia, which means knowledge. Science is not just the process of memorizing facts and principles. Science is a way of thinking and acting, and of finding out why things happen. Every week, we do experiments on the related subjects. It will be a fun and exciting program. The goal is to help these little minds to develop curiosity, and understand the process of hypothesis, experimental process, conclusion, and reporting.

Art - Fine Arts and Fun Arts and Crafts Projects

Math - Montessori Math including 4 operations on static and dynamic computations with Montessori Math materials

Enrichment Classes: Language, Math, Fine Arts

Language
 Language Arts/Literature - Montessori grammar, reading comprehension, verbal reasoning, vocabulary building, writing projects, poetry.

Math
Montessori Math - 4 operations, fraction, problem solving, etc.

Fine Arts
This special art class is a great start for arts appreciation for young children. In addition to studying artists' techniques, history will be included and will make the whole art curriculum exciting and fun!

Montessori Guided Preschool  Independent Study / Homeschooling / Supplemental Curriculum Online (Coming Soon!)

This is an option for those families who are interested in guiding their child(ren) in a Montessori Way and would like to work with their children independently:
