Brilliant Kids Montessori Preschool in Carlsbad accepts children from 2 1/2 (potty trained) to 6 years old.

School Hours for School Year:
Mon, Wed, Fri  Mornings: 8:45 am - 11:45 am
Mon, Wed, Fri  Afternoons: 12:15 pm - 3:15 pm
Mon, Wed, Fri  Full Days: 8:45 am - 3:15 pm 
Before and after school childcare, please inquire.

Tuition & Fees:

  • Registration Fee - $75 one time non-refundable application / registration fee

  • 3 Mornings or 3 Afternoons Per Week: Yearly Tuition of $3,800 (10 months) or $380 per month for 10 months

  • 3 Full Days Per Week: Yearly Tuition of $7,600 (10 months) or $760 per month for 10 months

  • Materials Fees - $200 per year

  • Annual tuition prepayment discount of 5% off tuition, except Miscellaneous Fees

  • Sibling tuition discount of 5% off tuition, except Materials & Registration Fees

More Information:

Summer 2008 :

July 7th - August 1st, 2008 (4-week session) - FULL
July session: Mandarin Chinese (speak & write), and Science (physics, chemistry, biology lessons that are not covered in regular school year)

August 4th - August 29th, 2008 (4-week session)
August session: Science and Music. Science lessons in August session will be different from July session.

Mon, Wed, Fri: 9 a.m. - noon
Tuition: $450 (materials fee is included)

Science is the study of nature and the physical world of testing, experimenting, and measuring. The word science comes from the Latin word scientia, which means knowledge. Science is not just the process of
memorizing facts and principles. Science is a way of thinking and acting, and of finding out why things happen.

Here's a summary of the curriculum outline:

Every week, we do experiments on the related subjects. It will be a fun and relaxing program. The goal is to help these little minds to develop curiosity, and understand the process of hypothesis, experimental process, conclusion, and reporting.

Montessori Guided Preschool  Independent Study / Homeschooling / Supplemental Curriculum Online (Coming Soon!)

This is an option for those families who are interested in guiding their child(ren) in a Montessori Way and would like to work with their children independently:

  • Full-time - Guided individualized curriculum and participate in field trips, playdates, and other fun events.

  • Part-time - Guided individualized curriculum, supplement current Montessori / other education style's preschool / elementary schooling, and participate in field trips, playdates, and other fun events.

  • Part-time - Guided individualized curriculum, supplement public school kindergarten / elementary curriculum, and participate in field trips, playdates, and other fun events
