Join us for these fantastic
Art Enrichment Activities! Students will learn the techniques of master
artists, create special projects and lessons, increase self-esteem,
build self-confidence, develop and improve fine-motor skills, and have
lots of FUN!
Picasso and Me! Summer 2007
Week #1: Monet and his Water Lilies
Students today will create their very own lily pond! Using our
liquid watercolors and special foam brushes, students will create their
very own masterpiece.
Week #2: Glitter Frames!
Sparkle and shimmer - A perfect keepsake for your favorite photo.
Week #3: Matisse and his Cutouts
Excellent lesson for those fine motor skills! Cut! Cut! and more
Cutting! Shape, color and design- this is at the forefront of Matisse’s
master works. Don’t miss this one!
Week #4: Van Gogh’s Sunflowers
Thick paint and palette spreaders are introduced along with
beautiful sunflowers. Students will create their own interpretation of
Van Gogh’s work. A true beauty.
Week #5: Treasure Boxes
Collage items, gems, foam shapes, and more make this box a very
special place to keep all kinds of treasures.
Week #6: Camp Clay: From Degas to Henry Moore
My First Sculpture: Students will create their own sculpture
masterpiece using clay, bronze and copper paints, and their imagination!
